Most frequent questions and answers

Registering will allow you to bookmark, direct message and chat with profile owners (You don’t need to become a full profile owner to register). Click the “Register” button at the top right of your screen. Enter your email, choose a username (note this will be visible to other users) and you should then receive an email from us with your password which you can edit in your “account details” later (please check your junk mail if the email doesn’t appear in your inbox).

When visiting a profile page, you can either click “Chat” in the top toolbar above the main content which will open a conversation with the profile owner (they will be sent an email to let them know they have mail), or you can use the contact form further down the page to send them an email.

Great! The easiest way to get a profile is to click the “Add a profile” button at the top right of the screen. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to choose a package that suits your needs and then craft your profile! You can choose one of 3 packages, Bronze, Silver or Gold.

You will gain access to our state-of-the-art profile analytics functionality and more. You will be able to make use of all site benefits, however the fields you can show on your profile will be slightly restricted in our Bronze Package compared to our Silver and Gold packages. You can upgrade at any time.

Once you have created your profile and paid for your subscription package, approval normally takes between 24 to 72 hours. 

Purchasing a subscription package with featured profiles mean that the profiles will randomly feature on the Sync Rink homepage and near the top of search results. “Promote” packages (as described in the FAQ below) are similar but are prioritised above featured profiles. Featured profiles remain so in perpetuity; “Promote” is temporary.

If you already have a profile, you will notice that you’re able to select “Promote” from your account dashboard. Promote packages allow your profile to stand out at the top of search results and feature on our homepage! We have 3 tiers of promote, “Standard”, “Super” and “Uber” Promote. Each tier promotes your profile for 7, 14 and 30 days respectively, with each package boosting your profile more than the other – i.e. choosing “Super Promote” prioritises your profile over “Standard Promote” and non-promoted profiles and “Uber Promote” is favoured above all else! 

Easy! Just let us know that you would like to cancel your subscription in the contact form below and we will cancel it for you – no questions asked (See FAQ below for our refunds policy).

If your payment is still processing, your user dashboard may still display your profile as “pending”. This will change to “published” shortly after approval.

Should you wish to stop paying for your subscription, the profiles on your account will remain active until your subscription renewal date. After which, the profiles will become unsearchable – but relax! You can always revisit your account and renew your profiles in the future.

Should you decide to delete your account, just contact us on the form below and we will do this for you. Any profile attributed to your account will be removed from the site immediately. Note that we’d be sad to see you leave us!

We do! Just get it touch with us using the contact form below telling us your request. If you would like to cancel your membership within 3 days, you will get a full refund. If you wish to cancel within 7 days, you will receive a 50% refund. You will be unable to claim a refund for memberships lasting longer than 7 days. Unfortunately, our Bronze and Promote packages are non-refundable.
